Basic setup (1 - 3 Days) Mounting a TV or projector, Connecting a surround sound system or soundbar, Mostly plug-and-play; no major construction. Mid Range setup ( 1 - 2 weeks) Soundproofing treatments, In-wall wiring (for speakers, power, HDMI, etc.), Mounting speakers (5.1 or 7.1), projector and screen. This would require a mix of tradesmen such as electrician, AV installer and possibly a carpenter. Full Custom Install (3 - 8 weeks) Full sound isolation, Framing risers and custom seating platforms, Custom cabinetry, projector mounts, or starlight ceilings, High-end control system, Final calibration (video & audio). Has to be done in stages with various tradesmen to ensure the highest quality.
